Bayshore Boulevard runs 4.5 miles along Hillsborough Bay in South Tampa, from Columbus Statue Park at Platt Street, on the edge of downtown, south to Gandy Boulevard. This page covers the condominium towers along it. Their residences look out across the boulevard's balustrade and its 10-foot-wide waterfront sidewalk, one of the longest continuous sidewalks in the United States, to the bay and the downtown skyline.
Living on Bayshore Boulevard
The sidewalk follows the seawall without interruption from Columbus Statue Park to Gandy Boulevard, with benches, a water fountain, bicycle parking and workout stations along the way. A bike lane runs along much of the route. Bayshore is also Tampa's great parade route. Each January the Gasparilla Parade of Pirates starts at Bay to Bay Boulevard and travels north up Bayshore toward downtown, with spectators lining the balustrade, so the towers along the boulevard put the parade at the front door.
Condo towers on Bayshore Boulevard
The corridor mixes established towers such as Atrium on the Bayshore and Monte Carlo Towers with newer high-rises. Hyde Park House has a pool terrace, and Altura Bayshore has a rooftop pool. The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Tampa, developed by Related Group and designed by Arquitectonica, added two towers on the bay: a 27-story tower at 3101 Bayshore Boulevard completed in 2024, and a 30-story second tower completed in March 2026. Its grounds include pools with cabanas and tennis and pickleball courts. Every building has its own condominium association, so amenities, fees, pet policies and rental rules vary from tower to tower.
Dining, shopping and parks near Bayshore Boulevard
Hyde Park Village's open-air shops and restaurants are a few blocks inland from the boulevard's northern stretch. SoHo's restaurants along South Howard Avenue are nearby, and the Palma Ceia Design District's boutiques and cafes sit around MacDill Avenue and Bay to Bay Boulevard. Across the Davis Boulevard bridge near the north end, Davis Islands has its own village of restaurants on East Davis Boulevard. South of Gandy Boulevard, Ballast Point Park on Hillsborough Bay has a splash pad and a boat ramp, while its pier is closed for restoration.
Getting around from Bayshore Boulevard
Downtown Tampa sits at the boulevard's north end, and even from the Gandy end it is only about 6 miles by road. The Selmon Expressway is close by for trips downtown and east to Brandon, and Gandy Boulevard leads west to the Gandy Bridge and St. Petersburg.
